Hi All,

I've been out of DNN for a while (got myself a real job ;) but I decided to upgrade PokerDIY.com to the latest build (5.6.2). I just wanted to share how easy and pain-free it was and how stable 5.6.2 seems to be - thanks a lot to all involved.

In the past 3 years I have upgraded PokerDIY twice. Each time took about 3 days (!!!) and involved great amounts of hair-loss, frantic posting and bug finding. I upgraded only when I absolutely had too (for a feature) and knew it would cost me dearly in time and money. I even attempted an upgrade 6 months ago and after 2 days of fighting had to roll it back.

I was on 5.2.2 (over a year old now) and upgraded to 5.6.2 (Thanks PowerDNN) - it worked immediately and there have been no issues since. I've noticed a speed increase and better than that, 5.2.2 would go down at least once a day (I monitor it with Pingdom). So far I've had 1 dropout in the last 14 days...

This version seems as stable but quicker than 4.9.5 (which was very stable) - so thanks a lot for all the hard work, I'm looking forward to the usability/UI improvements in DNN 6!
