Hi



I am trying to configure DNN, but i get a server error when i try to open the web-page.

I have followed the installation-manual, but am unable to find the: "IIS APPPOOL\WEBSITENAME" account to add to the security-tab.

I have installed Framework 4 (+.3.5, 2.0 and so on) and i have installed ASP.NET.



Help please, im on the edge of ripping my hair out >.<

The following is one of the best articles I have seen in setting up the IIS Identity Account and granting it the necessary full file system permissions:

Also, note the section on enabling "Load Users Profile" in the App Pool's advanced settings. I suspect that the error you are receiving is actually due to "Load Users Profile" not being set to "True".

I got it working by following the guide you sent me :)

But for some reason the DefaultAppPool was set to use .NET Framework instead of 4.0.
I changed it, and then i could find the IIS AppPool\DefaultAppPool "user"
