Looking for some interesting reading from the DotNetNuke COMMUNITY (intentionally caps).

We are about to publish a DotNetNuke News app for iPad and iPhone. The idea is to make something that people who are interested in DNN would enjoy using to view related news and discussions, who like us enjoy the iPad.

If you know of any good DNN related blogs, news or other sites that have RSS feeds. Please post them here and we will include them after evaluating them.

We are keen especially on blogs and news RSS feeds that are mostly DNN related, and not too "spam / commercial / buy our junk". Basically everything that "normal" people find interesting.

Hi David,

I have a bunch of RSS feeds in my google reader, but I had to unsubscribe to most of the blogs.

The reason I unsubscribed was that when one person updated his blog, it should show in my RSS feed that he had ten new blog entries.  More frustratingly  however, it would then show all the other bloggers suddenly had ten new entries also.  The result was I could never know when were really new articles and which were clutter.

I did not bother to figure out whether it was google reader, my android phone, the DNN blogs or something else that was causing the prob.

If you have any clues, it would be nice to have it all working again

thanks

Mark

You need to work out if it is the RSS feed or the reader. Just take one of the RSS feeds and put it into a reader like Chrome, without an RSS plugin. That will show the native RSS XML looking text. If you see a bunch of duplication then the fault is in the feed.

Not really the point of this request for feeds though.

Think we may have crossed wires Mark,

I'm not looking to help you resolve RSS issues you may have on your site and or RSS client. I am offering to include DNN Blog or DNN News content into a new iPad / iPhone app we are to release.

If you publish content via RSS that others may find interesting, please provide the URL.

If you need assistance resolving RSS browsing, please seek professional assistance with this.
