If you can acces your database, I would suggest to have a look at the search tables and see what's in there. It might give you a hint.

Thomas,

May be than your 'Index' tables are corrupted! Please try to follow advices from this post.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I do have direct access to the db, so I follow your link and rebuilt the index. The I looked at the tables and there are indexing entries.

So I went back to the site and expected the search to work, but it still gives no results. If I do it while logged in I see a message that says: "This module is hidden to regular users if there is no Tag=xxx querystring parameter" which I find rather curious. I was search on the name of our town which is in a Contact Us page in plain text. I did take a look at the to make sure the permissions were proper (it was set to All Users View Page).

I also tried switching back to the default skin to make sure it wasn't our skin doing something funky.

Sounds like I actually have a DNN issue. Nothing to do with the store itself.

Again, if you have a though... anything will help. I just get a funny feeling this is something very simple that I am just missing.

Hi Thomas,
check if you have “Search Results” module on your “Search Results” page. I’d say it is missing there. If this is the case then add the module and go …
