As far as I can tell it's something DNN has to implement in code.

 I don't see how this matches the symptoms people are reporting above.

I have the same problem. DNN Version: 6.01.02 (updated through a lot of steps from Version 5.x.

Does anybody have a solution für this problem?

Same here, DNN Forum version 5.0.3, DNN version 6.00.01

Same error here. Error, but it's uploaded to file manager.

Please mark me down as hoping there is a solution forthcoming.

Bump! Same error here, same versions. Really need the fix for this. I have users clamoring to use the attachment feature within forums.
