Hello
I want to pass parameter to Module on another TAB
I did the following

Dim tabController As New TabController()
            Dim tabInfo As TabInfo = tabController.GetTabByName("tsl", PortalId)
           TextBox1.Text = GetModuleID(tabInfo.TabID, "tl")

            Response.Redirect(Globals.NavigateURL(tabInfo.TabID, "Triplist", "fc", Fromtxt.SelectedItem.Value, "tc", Totxt.SelectedItem.Value, "tsd", tripstartdate.SelectedDate.Value.ToLongDateString, "ted", tripenddate.SelectedDate.Value.ToLongDateString, "mid=" & CStr(TextBox1.Text)))

the problem i can navigate to page tsl but the module is invisible.

ANY IDEA , ANY HELP

I had a similar issue once and what fixed it for me was simply getting in the habit of passing my querystring parameters better.

What I mean is I'd do more of a
Response.Redirect(Globals.NavigateURL(tabInfo.TabID, "Triplist", "fc=" & Fromtxt.SelectedItem.Value, "tc=" & Totxt.SelectedItem.Value,"tsd=" & tripstartdate.SelectedDate.Value.ToLongDateString, "ted=" & tripenddate.SelectedDate.Value.ToLongDateString, "mid=" & CStr(TextBox1.Text)))

Since I've done that - I've had no issues.

For me - after a certain DNN version - many links just quit working - so I resorted to this.  Plus I do C# and format it for better reading as so.

Response.Redirect(Globals.NavigateURL(tabInfo.TabID, "Triplist",
"fc=" + Fromtxt.SelectedItem.Value,
"tc=" + Totxt.SelectedItem.Value,
"tsd=" + tripstartdate.SelectedDate.Value.ToLongDateString,
"ted=" + tripenddate.SelectedDate.Value.ToLongDateString,
"mid=" + CStr(TextBox1.Text)));

Hello
I tried your code
but it's same old issue  , I even can't see the module
these are the urls after using your code
http://localhost/newalhamalat/tripsearchlist/ctl/Triplist/fc/5/tc/2/mid/423?tsd=Thursday,%20August%2018,%202011&ted=Sunday,%20September%2018,%202011

and my code
http://localhost/newalhamalat/tripsearchlist/ctl/Triplist/fc/5/tc/2/tsd/Thursday,%20August%2018,%202011/ted/Sunday,%20September%2018,%202011/mid/423

I am using the following code in target module to request querystring

Dim TSD As Date
TSD = Request.QueryString("tsd")
Dim TED As Date
TED = Request.QueryString("ted")
ListTrips(Request.QueryString("fc"), Request.QueryString("tc"), TSD.Date, TED.Date)

PLEASE HELP

I would suggest that you are going about the url in the wrong way.

Whenever you pass a ctl= parameter to a dnn url - it causes dnn to switch into admin/edit mode which turns off all the modules on the target page except for one.

This is not the best way to work with modules - instead - remove the ctl and mid parameters - and place the triplist module on the target page as a default VIEW mode module - not a ctl module with the value "Triplist".  Then have the module read the parameters you pass thru as normal.
