Hi,

Still nutting out DNN mainly using this book (Pro DotNetNuke Module Programming).

Was wondering if there are a way to get intellisense support for editing the .dnn files?

Right now I was manually typing out a section from the book and thought life would be so much easier if one had intellisense support.

Cheers,
Krok

to provide intellisense, there would be a VS configuration file needed. AFAIK noone took the effort to create it, sorry. However, if you are using built in DNN packaging wizard, you will get support for most of the usual items. btw: if you are looking for a helpful book, you should check "DotNetNuke 5.4.0 Cookbook" as well.

Cheers from Germany,

there was a partially complete xsd of the manifest file floating about (i think on support.dotnetnuke.com) but nothing official has ever been shipped. The manifest is fully documented at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/loc/allpages/Cat/Manifest.aspx which could at least help with some cut-and-paste efforts.

Thanks both of you.

I think for now I'll just keep typing (at least learning something) knowing that soon I'll probably only use some wizard. (The manifest wiki you posted will help a lot also, thanks!)

Defo will look into the book recomendation. Thanks again!
