I have exactly the same problem as DNNMonster: 6.0.1, and when I try to install either the 4.0.0 that is avaialable to install right from DNN 6.0.1, or v 4.0.2 (latest), I get that message:

SQL Execution resulted in following Exceptions: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): There is already an object named 'UpgradeMedia' in the database. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection. (SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlInternalConnection. Appreciate your help, as I can't find a solution in this or other forums.

I just tried to reproduce this installation issue and unfortunately I can't.  The combinations I tried include:

  • DNN 06.00.00 with Media 04.02.00
  • DNN 06.00.01 with Media 04.02.00
  • DNN 06.01.00 with Media 04.02.00
  • DNN 06.01.04 with Media 04.02.00

I put those combinations because it isn't completely clear what versions of either are being used in the prior posts.

Any prior versions of the Media Module should not be used.  There are several bugs and issues that are fixed.
