03.05.06 Beta is now available, you can download it here
http://gooddogs.com/Downloads.aspx

The good news, is that this beta release now supports ALL DotNetNuke versions 3.5.1 and up, including the latest 6.X versions.

03.05.06 addresses a number of issues

Performance Issues with Dashboard Component
Changes have been made to help performance when you have a large number of Objects in your Repository.  The issue would manifest when placing a Dashboard Component on a page and pointing it at a Repository with a large number of entries.

PERMALINK Token Not Working
This issue has been fixed.  The PERMALINK token will now direct the user to the page with the Repository module, and will automatically filter the module to show only the entry referenced by the token Url.

SECURITYROLES Token not Saving
This issue has been fixed. Adding a [SECURITYROLES] Token to your form.html template file will now display a list of checkboxes for each security role in your portal. The roles you select will now be saved with the entry, and the Repository module will now only display entries for which the current user belongs to the required roles. Leaving all checkboxes unchecked will result in the entry being 'public' and viewable by everyone.  NOTE: These security roles defined at the entry level only pertain to 'Viewing' the item.  Download permissions are still set at the 'Module' level on the Module Settings screen.

SETTINGS FORMAT IN DNN 6.X
There were some formatting issues with the Repository Settings in DotNetNuke 6.X. This has been fixed and settings are now formatted properly

Let me know if you have any issues with this release.
Thanks for your patience

I am still looking into a couple of other reported issues, however, these were major issues and I wanted to get this release available as quickly as possible.  I would expect there to be one more beta release, 03.05.07, which I plan to submit for official release sometime in December.

Steve,

A couple requests for your next version:

1.) RSS Feed - Ability to filter by category, not just ALL repository items.
2.) When adding a repository item, have a "View Order" property to allow items to be in a specific order despite the sort order selected in settings (think of this one as a way to add a "sticky" item).

Ed,
If you have a Repository where you are the primary uploader, or perhaps don't need to display 'who' uploaded an item, here's a trick that will let you order the items anyway you want .. use the AuthorName field :)

1. edit your FORM.HTM template file, change the prompt from 'Author Name' to 'Sort Order'
2. edit your TEMPLATE.HTM template file and remove the 'Uploaded by" text and [AUTHORNAME] token
3. Go to Module Settings and change the Default Sort order to 'AuthorName'

Now, when you upload a file, you will be prompted to enter a 'Sort Order' string. NOTE: Since it's a string field it will be sorted as a string, so what I recommend is to use a fixed number of characters, for example, I would enter '0001' for the item I want first, then '0002' for the second one, that way they will be sorted correctly.

Now you have complete control over the order in which the items are listed.

Not sure if that will work in your situation, but it's an option :)

I have added a new Module Setting to the 03.05.06 Beta, that will allow you to decide whether you want anonymous users to be able to edit/delete items uploaded by anonymous users. It's a new checkbox on the Module Settings screen right after the Roles section.

I uploaded a new Beta build, 16492, with this new setting implemented.
You can download it at

http://dnnrepository.codeplex.com/releases/view/76890

* UPDATED 11/15/11 *
NEW SETTING - Anonymous Upload Editing/Deleting
A new setting was added so that if you allow anonymous uploads by checking 'All Users' in the Upload Roles section, you can then decide whether you want to allow anonymous users to be able to edit or delete uploads by anonymous users.  If checked, then any anonymous user can edit/delete any item uploaded by themselves or any other anonymous user.  If not checked, the anonymous uploads can only be edited/deleted by an administrator.

This new Build also includes a fix to an old issue.  Now, for example, if you edit an item on Page 3, and either Save a change, or Cancel, you will be returned to Page 3, and not back to Page 1 as was happening previously.

I got the following error when  I add an item or edit item by clicking update or cancel button. Module setting has no problem. I use version 6.0.

Thanks
