Just a general question in regards to the DNN Repository module.

1.) Is there any way to get an Rss feed?
2.) And if so, can I get one for a specific category?

I know I used a 3rd party repository (Power Downloads maybe?) years ago that had it. Seems like a bit of an oversight for this module...

Anyone?

The Repository module can indeed provide an RSS feed.
It does so by implementing the core 'Syndication' property.

In the module settings on the Page Settings tab, you'll see a checkbox labelled 'Allow Syndicatgion'. just check that and an RSS feed will be available.

The feed will be based on latest uploads/edits, you cannot filter it at the feed level to only include a single category

Thanks Steve!

Filtering on a category would be a very nice feature to have for the repository. Unfortunately, I'll have to look at a 3rd party "repository" module without this feature.

Hi

I am getting an empty rss, I clicked allow synidcation and copied the rss url but it is emply other than the title.

The RSS: http://www.arabaviation.com/AircraftExchange/tabid/230/moduleid/1297/RSS.aspx

The page: http://www.arabaviation.com/AircraftExchange.aspx

I checked the web.config  file and the rss handler reference is stated.

the feed is generated by a scheduled task, you may have to wait until that task runs, or manually kick it off.
