Hey everyone,

I've written a (quite lengthy) blog post illustrating the current situation, hopefully it's helpful in both understanding what is happening, and also in how to move forward.

Thanks,

BUT, my Manage button and Main Admin Host menu dropdown is not working properly. I do see that 1 Manage button on the page is working. But the others never get semi transparent. But if I switch from Edit Mode to Layout Mode they all work properly. So maybe that is a clue.

 Cliff,

Like you, my main site is running Active Social.

I tried upgrading from 5.6.5 to 6.1.1, and encountered the same issue with the Manage buttons and menu dropdowns. I also noticed that my Dynamic Registration modules don't function following the upgrade.

So, I rolled back to restore the site. Now I'm going to create a test site to get this figured out.

I'm still poking around the forums and blogs, trying to get a clear path to just getting this fixed. I gather some of this is a problem with the modules, such as Active Social. You seem to be a few steps ahead of me. Is there a realistic fix or should I just sit back and let Will issue a new build of Active Social but even if he does, is that likely to be the only problem?

Any insights would be appreciated.

Steve

Will said on Thursday that an Active Social patch would be out in a few days. Hopefully soon.I wish they could go ahead and include any of the AS 2.0 content that is ready for prime time, but I doubt that will happen.

I was having issues on every page including Admin pages where the only modules on the page were my megamenu and the core modules like the event viewer. I kept banging my head against the wall thinking that I must have something in my skin causing these issues.

Well, it just hit me that one of the features of my MegaMenu from Dao at DNN360 is to embed other module content. I finally realized that I was embedding an Active Social module to show Latest Members in my Community Content main menu item. So basically that was placing an AS module on every page and thus breaking the jQuery.

I have tested all my other 3rd party modules like Ventrian Property Agent and Feedback Center, along with digNuke's Article and Contest modules and they seem to be working ok. So once I get the update for AS I think I will be in good shape.

Ian

We are not able to login to our site after upgrading to 6.1.1 - would the error above be causing this as well ?

See my other post;

Thanks

I, too, have broken "manage" buttons.  In addition to the "manage" buttons being broken, DDR menu disappears completely (it is replacing a solpart menu).  It's loading a style #dnn_dnnSOLPARTMENU_ctldnnSOLPARTMENU with display:none.  I assume these are related... but possibly not.  Both started when I upgraded to 6.1.1.  Suggestions?
