Hi, it is Ian again, with the image insert problem in the text module of DNN 6.1.1

I decided to do a completely new installation of DNN 6.1.1 an hour ago, it appeared to install flawlessly.  I opened up the default web site created by DNN, went into edit of a text module, clicked on Insert Media, Uploaded a picture, and it came up in the file list, I was able to insert it into the text module with no problem.  - This is how it should work.

However I then create another Parent Portal - Portal 1.  Add a text module, clicked on Insert Media, Uploaded a Picture, it uploaded but IT DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE FILE LIST, so I was not able to insert it into the text module.  (The file really is uploaded as I can see it under Portal 1, it just does not appear in the Image Manager file list)

Can someone please replicate this and see if they get the same thing.  This is a clean install of DNN 6.1.1., no added modules.

I want to know if it is something strange with my server, or if this is a bug in DNN 6.1.1.

Thank you

Ian.

Since DNN 6 with the new DNN implementation of the dnnwerk editor provider.

Not sure if it is the same bug but I often find that images are listed but thumbnails do not show up in the rightmost col of the image requester. They are there but have a value of 0px width and 0px height.
It is very annoying and has me looking at fck again but you might find you can insert and then adjust the values in the html.

Does anyone from DNN have a solution or a suggestion on where to start solving this problem. My clients are not happy.

Hi Ian,

I have tested a lot. An hour ago, I did see one odd thing. have not tested enough yet though.

When I log as superuser I can not use the image manager since it can "not see folders and images". I tried and looged as admin and then I did suddenly see the folder with images I did previusly upload from filemanager.

If you can test this, please give me your ideas or conclusions!

thanks,
/Peter
