Dear ALL,

I am using DotNetNuke_Community_04.09.05_Source. Its working fine on my developement server. As to deploy it , i publish site on my System and deploy it on production server. Now i configure the same on IIS (ie create virtual directory etct.) and try to access using http://localhost/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/Default.aspx. But i got DotNetNuke error and url getting change to http://localhost/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/Default.aspx?tabid=38&error=Could+not+find+a+part+of+the+path+'C%3a%5cinetpub%5cwwwroot%5cdotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source%5cApp_GlobalResources%5cLocales.xml'.&content=0. As App_GlobalResources did not be created while publishing site.

Solution which i try :
1) I copy same folder ie App_GlobalResources from local system to Production server. It again shows following error :
The directory '/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/App_GlobalResources/' is not allowed because the application is precompiled.

2) Open App_GlobalResources, copy data from there and paste them on BIN folder at production server. Still get the same error as i found
http://localhost/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/Default.aspx?tabid=38&error=Could+not+find+a+part+of+the+path+'C%3a%5cinetpub%5cwwwroot%5cdotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source%5cApp_GlobalResources%5cLocales.xml'.&content=0. As App_GlobalResources did not be created while publishing site.

Plz suggest.

Thanks in Advance...

DotNetNuke does not support precompilation (which is what deploy does under the covers) - instead you should copy the entire folder structure to your production database (e.g. via a file copy or FTP)

Dear Team,

I am using 04.09.05. But as i copy it on server and access virtual directory from another system, I did not get it.
On production server , i access it as : 1) http://localhost/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/ , it works fine.
2) http://127.0.0.1/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/
it moves to http://localhost/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/
3) http://192.168.01.01/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/
it moves ot http://localhost/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/
here 192.168.01.01 represent IP of my System

On another system, i access it using
http://192.168.01.01/dotnetnuke_community_04.09.05_source/
it shows "The website declined to show this webpage" .

My view, i think on .sln file i have to update something. May be this, but not sure about where.

Please Suggest,

Regards,
