Dear Experts,

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

I have a problem with content within the standard html modules - the skin I use all the content for articles is wrapped in a grey bubble however it always seems like the text is pushed down and I can't figure out how to bring it up.

see www.passionateaboutit.net - there are 3 html modules beneath the slider image.

Thanks,

i recomemend you take a look at it with a browser tool such as the built in editor (press f12 in ie/chrome) or firebug (firefox) - a quick glance shows that one of your issues is the h2.art-postheader in your passinadnn/styles.css (I remove the reference and the gap shrunk in half)

Thank you for the reply - I have now got firebug and found it very useful :-) However I'm still a bit stuck - I have located the style.css on the server at %siteRoot%\Portals\_default\Skins\PassionaDnn\style.css

My problem is now that whatever changes I make to the css file - when I reload/restart the server I can't see any changes on the site - even moving the file to another location does nothing :-(

Is there another location that DNN uses for this style sheet when rendering?

 Thanks,

Andre

Solved! Thanks!

For some odd reason editing the css file directly on the site doesn't work - I'm guessing it must cache the css in another format

When I edited the css in the skin and reuploaded the skin the changes took effect.

Thanks so much for your help
