Hi,

I just created a new DNN 6.1.1 site today and tried to install the Events module (5.02.00) and I get an across the board failure with line after line of errors. Here is the first couple of items in the error message: SQL Execution resulted in following Exceptions: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid column name 'Description'. Invalid column name 'DateTime'. Invalid column name 'Title'. So forth and so on. I could paste the entire thing, but it's really long.

I just checked and the following tables are in the DNN db (all Rows show zero entries):

  • Events
  • EventsCategory
  • EventsLocation
  • EventsMaster
  • EventsNotification
  • EventsPPErrorLog
  • EventsRecurMaster
  • EventsSignups
  • EventsSubscription

Any idea as to what might be causing it? BTW -- I did install the latest forum module without any issues.

Well. I found another thread discussing the same sort of issue I was seeing, so I used the suggestion to run the un-install SQL script to completely remove the module entries from the DNN db. I then uploaded and ran the installer again -- success!
