I set the IIS logging as suggested and it doesn't log when someone gets logged off, only when successful login. So, I upgraded to 6.1.2 and Datasprings gave me a hint about the random logout issues and I think it's likely correct. Now I need help for how to fix this issue. What's happening is when I go to the site with my typical address that I expect it to be set at with the www URL, and then I navigate to another page, the URL changes to the non-www version of the domain. I did not configure this new site, PowerDNN did. What needs to happen so that the www or non-www all resolve correctly and the site allows for either one and follows through on the one the user starts with? Since PowerDNN set it up without the www, the Google search results also don't have the www. We're getting ready to send out a launch announcement and plan to use www but that could be a bit disastrous as our users register and login and the domain URL changes and they get randomly logged off. Thanks for any help and suggestions on this.

How does one determine which is the default URL? 

The UI presents a list, and there is no special marker for the default one.
