Hi,

Using GUID in url secure or any kind of plus point in that? for example: www.abc.com/articles/entryid/06D5CE24-C5DD-4EE0-A132-BF255BFE0C0B/test.aspx

Or using GUID makes url lenghty and hence can affect SEO too. Is it fruitful to use GUID's in DotNetNuke site URL's?

Thanks,

Varun

Not unless your trying to secure or obfuscate something sensitive. For example, when sending a user a link to recover a password or perhaps access a DNN role it would make sense to use a temporary GUID instead of the userid.

I think this really depends on you and what your needs are. Otherwise it would just make complex and impossible to remember URLs.

Not really, unless it is for a specific purpose.  You're always better off trying to create easy to remember Urls.
