Hello, I just installed DNN 6 using the Godaddy included install package. The install completed with no problems. The page comes up fine and had me logged in the first time. Now after going to the page again, I cannot login. When I click on "login" I get a popup window with a Server Error page not found.......

Please help! Why is the login link broken??

try typing yoursite.com/login.aspx to see if that works-also check you have a config/siteurls.config file

There is no login.aspx in the root of the application. Going to domain.com/login.aspx does not work

There is a config/siteurls.config file. There does not appear to be any reference to login.aspx in this file

login.aspx is a virtual page (the urlrewriter has code which redirects to the relevant page if it finds /login.aspx in the path).

You could try www.yoursite.com/default.aspx?ctl=login (this is basically what the login.aspx redirects to)

As to the 404, I would suggest you install a http proxy such as fiddler and use it to see what the actual requests are to see if that reveals anything.

mydomain.com/default.aspx?ctl=login does bring up the login page perfectly

Fiddler shows 404 response with these details:

GET http://mydomain.com/mydomain.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f&popUp=true HTTP/1.1
Host: mydomain.com
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1

I am hosting with Godaddy. I'm not sure why it is refering to mydomain.com/mydomain.com/..... I have heard this is a commor problem with GoDaddy but have not yet tracked down a fix. Could this be causing the problem?
