Mike could you paste the link for the issue reporting that you did please.

The issue is a nightmare, i have to reupload the images for them to show in the folders in the image manager.

Also the document manager just shows a white empty screen with nothing accesible.

It would be good to use the HTML provider for DNN 5.6 i believe it was fck editor? or Telerik?

Please keep this thread alive, because without it i am doomed :(

I fixed this by going into the Folders table and changing the folder names for the affected portal on a row by row basis. The folder names must match the exact case ("Images" versus "images") in order for the Image Manager to work correctly.

One work around I am going to explore is running a delete query against the folders table for a specific Portal. Then run a recursive file sync in the affected portal file manager.

The file manager does not do a good job of updating an existing folder name (meaning delete old then add new).

Running a change case query against the folders table is not effective since some modules use mixed case folder names. The issue keeps coming back to the limited ability of the file manager to catch and update folder names with the incorrect capitalization.

I have verified that this is a folder name issue. I just tested a portal that was having an issue with the Media Manager in the RADEditor. I ran a query against the database to remove all rows from the Folders table for the problem portal. Then ran a recursive sync from the file manager. Then updted the permissions.

All folders and files are now visible. This is a file manager issue that is creating problems with the RAD Editor.
