Hi Cathal

I have switched to the Telerik HTML provider and all is working fine if i log on via IE.

Except when I open the Image, Document, Flash, Media or Template Managers, they do not show any folders or images, do u know why ?

Or would u advise me to use the CKEditor provider?

Hi again, so, i updated to DNN 5.6.3 and after that upgraded the telerik editor provider from 5.6.1 to 5.6.3 (which it didnt do automatic)

So now we are up and running, ehhh, editing! :-)

Thanks!

Another great Option would be using CKEditor 3 (successor of FCKEditor 2), you may download for free from dnnckeditor.codeplex.com.

Just a comment about the IE9 compatibility, IE7 standards mode.

That one has been driving me crazy and I finally buckled down and did some googling.

The "fix" is to go to Tools, Compatibility Settings and uncheck the box labelled "Display intranet sites in compatibility view."

Note that you may need to tap the Alt key to get the menu to appear so that you can see the Tools entry.

Hi Joseph.

Well, like you i have spent hours and hours trying to solve that problem, fiddling with all the possible settings. I cant figure out what thoughts the IE developers have had when they invented this.

Anyway, nothing solved the problem, except the above mentioned: Upgrade DDN and telerik provider.

So lets see which problems we can expect with the IE10 version!!! From now on i will advice my web-editors to install Mozilla Firefox and use it to edit their websites. :-)
