Hi All,

Please bear with me as I try to understand localization and language packs.

I'm running DNN Pro 6.1.4.  English is the default language and I installed the Spanish language pack.

My website shows the 2 flags in the top-right corner but my website content doesn't automatically switch to Spanish.  Is this due to the fact that I need to convert my content to Spanish myself?  If so, where do I do this?  I'm using mostly HTML Pro modules on my pages.

Thanks,

Mark

Langauge packs do translate static elements only - field captions, button texts, table headers and help texts. To create a multilingual web site, you need either install a 3rd party ML solution or enable DNN Language Specific Pages. I strongly suggest starting with a small test page, before converting or building a larger web site.

I can't seem to find any tutorials on this - I'm sure there out there, but after a couple hours I haven't found anything that explains this.

If I understand correctly, I need to install a language pack, add the <dnn:Languages /> control to my skin, then provided translated versions of the pages somewhere? Does that involve resource files or something?

ANY help is appreciated.
