Now that I have installed YAF module on DNN successfully - could you please guide me with the steps how to configure the yaf and bring it on the website ? i mean how to add the yaf module on the dnn site ?

FYI, although free, YAF is a third party module with its own dedicated forums for support etc here http://forum.yetanotherforum.net/

Pingle is right - there is a support forum but the documentation is pretty easy to follow.

  1. You need to make sure there is a password in the web.config file.
  2. Ideally I would take the option to create a new user who is the 'host' of the forum, which is different to 'host' of a dnn website.
  3. You do need to be logged in as 'admin' with the 'forum host' role to do some things
  4. It's fast, very similar to php style forums and has some nice features.

The documentation is fairly good - I'm not a developer and managed to get this forum working, nor do I have visual studio installed on any of our computers, and we work with it just fine.
