Hi!

Please, can you tell me what exactly was it that worked?

Could you share the user/password among different sites?

What fields are needed to achiev that?

Thanks indeed!

As long as the username and password are the same as in the existing account, you can duplicate a user across multiple portals.

I had a same kind of requirement where the User has to be registered for both the Portals.

So this is what i did . as I have two portals PortalA and PortalB.

Just after Successful Creation of a user in PortalA.
I included the new User's useriD to PortalB.

UserController.AddUserPortal(intPortalB, UserID);

And do not forget to also copy the User Profile Properties(Country, City etc) to PortalB also.
As the above code includes the User to the new portal but doesnt Copies the properties from the initial portal

Cheers..!!!

Another option would be creating a website group - if using DNN Platform you need to install http://dnnportalgroups.codeplex.com/ to get a UI for this.

Create a new portal then - I have found if you run the stored procedure AddPortalGroup and then edit the portals table with the id(PK) added from addportalgroup - you are done. The UI seems buggy to me.
