I have just downloaded the source 6.2.2 and build it successfully.

Then when i have tried building it the second time i am getting this error:

Error 102 Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. ...Downloads\DotNetNuke_Community_06.02.02_Source\website\admin\ControlPanel\RibbonBar.ascx 8

I have looked in the source and the project does not exist.

Also i have searched for the ddrmenu.dll in all the folders it does not exist.

Just wondering if anyone can give any suggestions.

Thanks

N

Here are 3 things i have done:

1. Commented in web.config:

<!--<add name="DDRMenuNavigationProvider" type="DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.DDRMenuNavigationProvider, DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu" />-->

2. Under the folder desktopmodules/ddrmenu/actions.ascx, menu.ascx, menusettings, menuview,solpartmenu.ascx

excluded these files from the project

3. under admin/menus/dnnactions/ddractionsmenu.ascx excluded this from the project

I have build the website and it built successfully.

Thanks

N

It didn't help to me,

I couldn't find "DDRMenuNavigationProvider"  in solution, but I completed all steps from No. 2. And now, I have error:

protected void DetermineNodesToInclude(object sender, EventArgs e)
        {
            var skinObject = (Web.DDRMenu.SkinObject)sender;
            string admin = StripLocalizationPrefix(Localization.GetString("//Admin.String", Localization.GlobalResourceFile)).Trim();
            string host = StripLocalizationPrefix(Localization.GetString("//Host.String", Localization.GlobalResourceFile)).Trim();

The DDRmenu is the Default Provider in DNN.  If you commendet it out, you didn't get a working site.  Or have you installed a other Navigation Provider to develope a own Skin?

Before you could run a Website with the source package you have to compile the DNN Project.  It Need some Tasks to set it up to your own needs before you can compile it.

A Visual Studio solution file is included in the package.
