Help!
I accidentally deleted the Admin console off the site (dumb dumb dumb) - so I tried to re-install same via FTP upload of site version 6.2.2 but to no avail still not showing on ribbon bar.

Can someone help me to  reinstall? Or suggest getting it back on there!

Thanks, Mike

Sebastian -

Using 6.2.2  I was in page management- I was trying to activate a splash page which I did - except for some reason when that was activated my Home page disappeared.  I was able to reverse this.

I did not think I created the splash page correctly and thought I would start over so I deleted the splash page I created, which had a console  module in it.   When I deleted the splash page somehow the Admin Page and the children pages disappeared (deleted) - they are no longer listed in page management.

I thought it might be hidden, but I get the error "/Admin.aspx" cannot be found.

Suggestions and please be specific.  Thanks.

hm, this deleted recycle bin as well. you may either add recycle bin module to a different page and restore all admin pages or go to database, table tabs and uncheck deleted flag for all pages with path //admin//...

I re added the recycle bin and I was able to restore some of the deleted pages and modules- but not hte Admin (Administrator) page and children pages. I will need to see if I can restore via the database option...if not then i will be asking again..I will need to this from another system so not for about 4.5 to 5 hours from now. i will report back.

Make this a good lesson for anyone else of what not to do!
