Hi everybody.

I've just created (apparently correctly) a new Portal from an imported Template.

The Template is from a single-language Portal.

Now the new Portal has the same number of pages than the original Portal (83).

But when I open the new IP address i got an empty page, with this error "A critical error has occurred.
Root element is missing." and the flags of all the languages installed in my DNN instance (I was exepcting just one, like the source Portal).

I would like to add a screenshot but I can't...

I have only the "Register" and "Login" link, but even if I click there I stay on this error page.

I've tried to Edit this Portal settings logging in as Admin of Portals, but cannot change any useful setting.

I just noticed that I couldn't change the "Page Management" in Advanced Settings, beacuse the drop-down pages to be chosen are empty

Would you please help me finding a solution?

Thanks!

does your new website has multiple languages installed? did you enable portal localization prior to the import?

Yes, I have multiple languages installed on my DNN instance.

In fact the flags of all the installed languages appear in the header of this new Portal.

But when I created it from the Template I wasn't asked for which and how many languages to use.

The exported Template was of a single-language Portal.

I hope it's all clear. If I could I'd attach some screenshot, but I can't.

Thanks!

did you enable content localization in admin > languages for the target website prior to importing the template?
