For me: when i clear all the files in that directory, they are recreated.

Is that a new DNN installation or an updated one ?

Could you post here the lines for the client dependancy from the end at web.config ? Do you have those in your web.config ?

sounds like I have to do a clean install to look at the correct settings for DNN 6.1.5. 

The settings differ from your DNN 6.2.3 installation. 

I have to do some testing but thanks for your response!

Well i'm not sure what is wrong or even if something is wrong.

I have done the same, i copied the settings from a new DNN installation.

But what you have in there (almost 2000 file) is unnatural.
