Hey guys

Updated to the latest blog version and I seem to have lost all my previous categories that I had allocated to my Blog Entries.

I have around 1100 entries and cannot afford to have to go back and re-categorize them all.

Can anyone tell me whats going on?

I had same issue, so no upgrade to new version before these are solved...

Its a bit rubbish that no one from the DNN team has responded to this.  It's a massive issue when upgrading, especially as I have around 1100 articles in my site already.

Is there anyone here that knows how to link the existing Blog Categories to the Blog Entries when upgrading to 5.0?

Blog 5.0 is quite rubbish.I have to extend DNN blog with my needs and started it with 5.0.
But eventually have to choose DNN blog 4.1 for my needs.

In 5.0 they have inegrated the blog categories with taxonomy
