Hi,

I'm currently trying to update the icon of a particular module based on certain user data.

I've stepped through my code and am updating the ModuleConfiguration.IconFile property to the file that I'd want to use, but am finding that it's not doing anything.

Is this something that can be done dynamically, and if so, how do I do it please!

Thanks.

ModuleConfiguration is cached and really shouldn't be configured per user.

Is there any reason you want to do this? e.g. what is the scenario ?

Basically, what I'm setting up is a bit of a sports statistics site.

The user is able to set up what sport they want the site to default to, then the data supplied by these modules is based on what they've set themselves up to see.

The data all works fine, even populating ModuleConfiguration.ModuleTitle on the fly seems to work fine (though in this case, the titles aren't based on the user).

The image, I was hoping would be an easy display for the user to know exactly what sportthey are looking at.

Sounds as though it would be better for me to set up my own header and skip using the ModuleConfiguration all together.

Thanks for the reply.

That's what I would do - use my own header - you don't know what changes to ModuleConfiguration might be down the track.
