I have changed it to public moderated with post restrictions, and now I see the RSS.  When I add the RSS to the home page, it only displays the last post in each thread. We use this forum to ask legal questions and get moderated answers from lawyers. Is there a way to display both the first post of a thread (question) and the second (answer)?

BYW, Ilpo, thank you for your help.

Also, the Forum RSS feed lists a link to "more..." as the first item.  This item does not link anywhere.  is there a way to remove that?

Check how different RSS module templates and settings.

For Answer & reply functionality, I doubt that it can be done as RSS is just a list of items found on the source.
