I was finally able to get the backup and set this site up on the local network. After reviewing the database table EventLog I was able to determine when I attempt a login the following error occures:

"System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at DotNetNuke.Security.Membership.AspNetMembershipProvider.GetMembershipUserCallBack(CacheItemArgs cacheItemArgs)
at DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.DataCache.GetCachedDataFromRuntimeCache(CacheItemArgs cacheItemArgs, CacheItemExpiredCallback cacheItemExpired)"

Again, I checked the PortalLocalization table and all the fields seem to match up with those of a functional (same dnn version) site. For sure the LoginTab field is NULL. Also the SplashTab and RegisterTab were NULL.

Anyone have any ideas where to go from here? Thanks again
