well i dont think either one is better

I updated mine so yo wont have to have id elements just class elements and just use css fo hide the intial content. And if you have more of these links example in a header or footer of the skin the same links then you can use this solution as well

Well, I tested both method.

I managed to use the method of Timo (despite I was confused between a "break" and a "/ slash" - Yes, you are talking to a noob who is french native speaker, that does not help !! lol...)
Anyway, it's fully working as expected and I am very happy with it.

I tried Armand method which was my preferred one at the beginning, but I have to admit that it becomes too difficult for me (yes, I hear you saying: "if you do not make the difference between a break and a slash, forget DNN".... But I persist, I even managed to install a DNN local as well as remote and to manage my website like this for years - look at http://declic-video-fx.com and soon you will see the new skin !!). Anyway, I did not manage to have it running, too much code to put in unknown places and unknown order (you lost me with the link which sent several frames...)

But I saved this URLs, I will refer later on if I need help or more tricky things.
Thanks again to both of you, sincerely !!!! If you need video help, visit us and I will be more than happy to help you.

Hi Decilic

Well good you found a solution, nothing too difficult about my setup jsfiddle is just a service whre you can make these kind of setups.

in the top left frame is the html ( or skin ascx )

top right is what should be in the skin.css

bottom left is the script that needs to be put in script tags in the skin

bottom right is the result of the test setup :)

If I ever need video help I look you up
