What email account is used to send "Send Copy to Yourself"?
This is not host superuser or portal admin.
Can we set this? Sometimes people reply to this, and it's my email, rather than the site owner (To address)
I'd rather not set From address, although I see you still set Reply correctly.

Hi John,

Looking at the code it sends from the portal email address (the email address of the administrator defined in site settings - PortalSettings.Email).

For this email it doesn't seem to set the reply to email address.

It could be that in the depth of the core DNN code it is then using the email address defined in Host Settings.

Let me know what you are seeing and I'll dig further.

Cheers
Roger

John,

if you want more control over who gets feedback emails, you can try helferlein_Form instead of the core Feedback module.

Best wishes
Michael

Roger, yes, I think that is what I'm seeing Portal Admin - I was getting fooled by browser caching ...
I wish we could set this. I am Portal Admin but not site owner/recipient of form.
However, user gets copy to herself. User submits feedback to owner, owner replies. User waits few days. Has "blond" moment and replies to 'copy to user', rather than the owner reply.
So now I get the email rather than the site owner.
I'd like copy to user to either have from or reply to set to site owner or user or no reply email.

I know, Roger, I've written software myself, it's hard to anticipate blond users.
Make something foolproof and someone builds a better fool.
Just something to consider for next update.

For now, I'll set Portal admin email to no reply.
