What version of DNN are you trying to install?  What permissions does the  database user have?

I'm trying to install ver 4.3.2 and here is the response to the Permissions:

You are the database owner for your DB, which means you have full permission to the database you created.

Dose this help?

I figured you have a dbowner login for the database, but are you using your login to access it in DNN or did you create a new login that DNN uses.  If so, what permissions does that account you setup DNN to run under have?

My hosting provider has only given me one account.  That user has the dbowner privileges.  This is the account that I'm using to log into the database in the web.config file.  Do I need another account?

I'm getting a similar error...

I'm Admin on a Win2000 Server in my cube.  It has SQL 2000 installed and I'm dbOwner, full rights, and everything is up and running.

I've tried installing 17 Times and I always get this error.  There are quite a few stored procedures that are not being placed in the stored procedure folder under my DotNetNuke database.  No matter how I clean everything up and reinstall this same error shows up.

Server Error in '/DotNetNuke_2' Application.

Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortals'.
