After upgrading from 6.2.4 to 7.0.2 I cannot add new users or change roles for users.

Error message:

Fel: Add New User är för närvarande inte tillgänglig. (Add new user is nor available at present)  DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Unknown UserCreateStatus value encountered Parameter name: userRegistrationStatus ---> System.ArgumentException: Unknown UserCreateStatus value encountered Parameter name: userRegistrationStatus at DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.GetUserCreateStatus(UserCreateStatus userRegistrationStatus) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ManageUsers.UserCreateCompleted(Object sender, UserCreatedEventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

What shall I do?

Rune, schworak was having the same exception. please check his note.

I upgraded to 5.0.1 and still had the same problem. I did a full backup just before the upgrade so I wasn't too worried about breaking anything more than it already was broken.

So, I modified my web.config file to point to a different database and let DNN create all the tables and procedures again. I copied out all the procedure scripts. I had to re-arange them because SQL Server created them in alphabetical order. I just ran the scripts in the query analyzar and when it said one procedure needed another, I moved the required procedure up to the top of the script file.

In any case, after running all the procedures on the older database, my registration problem went away. So, I must of some how damaged one of the stored procedures or more likely messed up the privilages.

I am a happy camper now because I am back up and running and users can register again.

I deleted all data in the file system and the database. Thereafter, I performed a Clean full installation of DNN 7.0.3. So far every thing seems to functioning. However, a lot of work to reproduce all users, roles and pages.
