@RegGFX places like HostGator are great if you have a static site and do not plan on having anything upgraded, content deployed, or 24/7 phone support (free phone support, and not getting charged because you called in). These hosts are a dime a dozen and you really do get what you pay for with these types.

Not so. Nobody has static sites any more. HostGator is good but not for Windows hosting. They have no experience in Windows and of cource DNN. They run in medium trust. Not to  mention that all websites are subdomains of the default website. Very strange setup they have.

Definitely not for DNN.

I agree. Hostgator is definitely not for Windows or DNN hosting.

I have no problem with 3essentials, been using them since 2008, server always up and running fast, support is quick and knowledgeable.

PowerDNN is also a great host with the same quality of service.

I only recommend these two hosts, and never have been disappointed in doing so.

I used them for a while but left for non-DNN reasons and don't recall any issues specific to DNN.

Arvixe is who I currently use and I'm happy with them. I have a client on dnn4less.com and the overall performance of the site is great.
