DNN ver 6.2.6

My goal is to create a new registration page and add some custom text.

I'm following along with the tutorial found here that describes how to add a custom registration page. The problem is after adding the "Users and Roles" module to the page and removing the sections I don't need, the registration section looks very different from the default register page in DNN. The module I added has a huge section for Profile fields and is labeled "Add New User" and includes checkboxes for Notify and Authorize, like it's an admin module.

I also added some custom fields as Required that should show up as part of the registration process (and do show on the default Register.aspx page) but they're down in the huge profile section.

Can't I add the same module that is used on the default Register.aspx page?

OR, can someone tell me where the regex error message is for the Email Address field when registering? I've checked in the Site Settings Profile section, but email address isn't there. I also checked every resource file I can find, but no dice.

Thanks

Simple answer is no - for whatever reason - dnn have never released a separate module that actually lets you access the default rego engine.

Currently - if you want a custom rego module layout you are pretty much left with looking at 3rd party registration modules - or writing your own.

As for the regex email setting - its in the Admin -> Site Settings  -  User Account Settings tab.

Email Address Validation:  \b[a-zA-Z0-9._%\-+']+@[a-zA-Z0-9.\-]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}\b

Bummer. Thanks for the reply, do you know any way to modify the Regex error message for those fields?

I'm using Regex to limit who can register (only certain domain names) so if registration fails I need to let them know "You must have an @thisdomain.com email address" or something.

Thanks
