On a host which is Dutch, I've created a new site from an english template, and as far as I'm aware, it's a single language site (no option to switch languages in the tools menu) and it appears to be English, as the DNN menu is in English and when I view the page source, it starts with <html lang="en-US">.
The site's content will be in Dutch, But I leave it set to English to keep the DNN menu in English (The translation into Dutch is horrible, full of spelling errors and is a forced attempt to translate everything, even english word the Dutch normally use too). The Dutch language pack installed on the system though and the host account is set to Dutch.
As mentioned I've created a site from an English template and all appears to be English, while the site content will be in Dutch.
However, when I visit the page with Dutch set as the prefered language in my browser, the html source starts with <html lang="nl-NL">.
And to make things even weirder: I've added both a site logo and a favicon at once. The site logo only shows when I configure my browser with Dutch as prefered language, otherwise the default logo of the template is shown.
The favicon only shows when I configure my browser with English as the prefered language, otherwise no favicon is shown (not even the one from the template.
(Mind you that I need to clear the cache (the favicon is agressively cached) and cookies (language is stored in a cookie on first visit) when switching language.)
The site content (including the page icon) is always shown, no matter which language browser I use.
What the [beep] is going on here? (And how can I fix it?)
