I am running DNN 4.3 with the included Gallery module and was wondering whether the .zip file upload allows bulk image uploading? I have tried it with a zip file that is smaller than 'max file size' but I always end up with a PAGE NOT FOUND browser error after a minute of so.

Single jpg images upload just fine.

I have not tried uploading zip file to the Gallery module using DNN 4.3 but I know it works with DNN 3.2.2 so I don't think it's really a Gallery issue.

I would get the same error if I tried to upload a lot of photos as something (I never looked into it much) would timeout.  With the current version of the Gallery, when you upload a bunch of photos there is a lot that has to go on.  The files need to get unzipped, resized, thumb nailed and then copied.

So it's probably something just timing out as it's processing.  Try uploading fewer files.  30 or 40 per zip file seems to work for me the best.

Cheers,

Paul Davis
