Hi, I have been using DNN and its gallery module for sometime now. Everything worked fine. One day the gallery and forum decided to stop working for I dunno what reason. My site is hosted by a hosting company and DNN was a pre-install option. I have searched the forum for a day and a half now and I cannot find a solution or atleast not one that I can understand. Can someone please point me in the right direction in noob language please? Please note that this site has been working for a long time and has just stopped working. If possible I would not like to lose any data.
Thanks all in advance.
Here are some information I have gathered from my site, DNN Version = 3.1.1 .NET Framework = 1.1.4322.2300 Gallery Version = 03.01.11
I am receiving the following error,

A critical error has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. | I have seen others post logs, but my Log Viewer is not functioning either...

It doesn't look like it's a Gallery error. Especially since you are also having problems with your log viewer.
There does look to be some sort of SQL Server problem though. I would check with your provider and see what they have recently changed on their side.
Good Luck,

I do get the same error but on a test site running dnn 04.03.01. On my local test site exactly the same module works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi exodus_xt,
Sorry I didn't get back to you. I stopped getting e-mail from the DNN site for some reason.
Anyway, the last error is your problem now. It's causing the other two errors. It looks like the permissions on your directories has changed or the file _metadata.resources has gone missing for some reason.
I still think that your hosting provider has changed something on you. Have them check the permissions and make sure that file is there. Here is what is causing the problem;
Access to the path "C:\inetpub\vhosts\conceptfury.com\httpdocs\portal\Portals\0\Gallery\394\By Jackson Yu\Coke Can Test Results\_metadata.resources" is denied
Good luck.
