Michael,

I know...because I have done the IIS config and I have SQL server because in the SQL Server Management Studio we have
to make some config as well.

I meant to say that the apache error was part of XAMPP running local.

I cannot delete location xampp because I run a local site on drupal....or I must rebuilt it with DNN

Regards,

Marcel

Hi Michael,

It is working but I get an new error in the InstallWizard after creating a password it installs 16% and then says;

"16% ERROR:Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'IX_Version'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.Version'.

The duplicate key value is (7, 0, 0). The statement has been terminated."

what does this mean?

You better delete the database, copy the DNN files and start with a clean environment.

Hi Mariëtte,

I am new with DNN... so when you say delete the database from SQL Server Management Studio you mean I have to run part 3 of the tutorial again, after deleting the database?

Marcel,

it seems that at some stage the installer had written something into the database and then stopped. Restarting it tries to create the same key again, therefore it hangs.

You should delete your complete installation and database, and the start from step 1. But before, you should remove Apache, PHP, etc. from your local machine.

Best wishes
Michael
