Hi all,

I try to install DNN 7.0 and in the last (part 4) part Installation Wizard 

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/V...

when I type in www.dnndev.me in the web browser I dont get www.dnndev.me/instal/instalwizard.aspx BUT www.dnndev.me/XAMPP

what is happening here???

I followed all steps from part 1 tíll 4 and still....


Please HELP!!!

Marcel,

did you try to install XAMPP before? You should delete everything from this directory before installing DNN.

What happens when you navigate directly to the install wizard?

Hi Michael,

Yes I installed XAMPP before for a drupal site, I will put the files from XAMPP somewhere else.

When go directly to the install wizard, I get this error:

Error 404

I will delete xampp and see what happens.

So this is the xampp error I believe as Apache is mentioned...and PHP...

Marcel,

DNN needs IIS, not Apache... and ASP.Net, not PHP... (and SQL Server and not mySQL if you have an environment like this...)
