Using DotNetNuke via WebMatrix 2 and need to migrate database to hosting site. Can connect to server but selected the incorrect option to migrate so it failed. I selected "Replace existing database" when I should have selected "Overwrite tables of existing database". When I tried to migrate again it keeps the original options and doesn't give me option to change. Does anyone know where I go to change these or how to get it to forget. I have very little web experience and I'm liking DNN but finding it very frustrating trying to get my work moved to a hosting firm.

Talk to your hosting provider ...

I wouldn't have asked the question if I hadn't already exhausted that route. PowerDNN informed me that it wouldn't be a problem when I signed up, now that I have a problem, they don't support Webmatrix. I'll look for a Webmatrix forum.

Try using RedGate SQL Compare and SQL DataCompare to compare your local database to the remote one. They have a 2 week trial license, which should give you enough time to get this done.

(or choose a hosting provider that can actually help you...)
