I have DNN 7.0.6 Community Edition installed with Sql server 2005 SP4 backend.  I have installed all updates over the last few years.  When I login as any user or admin, or even as host, and I click on the "Check Notifications" icon next to logged in user id, I get this error logged in the event log:

System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ProfileModuleUserControlBase.get_ProfileUserId() at DotNetNuke.Modules.MemberDirectory.View.get_DisplayModule() at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Pane pane, ModuleInfo module)

All users have valid profiles - that is, all the required fields are populated.  Check messages works fine.  The site is using the default skin which is Dark Knight

If it helps, the url that it is trying to display when it throws an error is  <http://coloradohandball.com/main/Default.aspx?tabid=463&userId=604?view=notifications&action=notifications>

Appreciate any help on getting this to work.  Thanks in advance for your time!

More information: It looks like this is a bug when "Use Friendly URLs?" is un-checked in the Host Settings, Advanced Settings dialog. You can easily reproduce this error on a newly installed dev site using the standard dnndev.me domain name with version 7.0.6 of the Community Edition. Simply uncheck the Use Friendly Urls option and save your change (update), then click on the default skin icon that is supposed to display the Notification page, or try to navigate to the <http://www.dnndev.me/Default.aspx?tab...> page in any way, and the error is recorded in the event log. Checking the Use Friendly URLs option, saving the change, and then navigation works right. Unfortunately, I have one site that does not behave well with Friendly URLs so this is a site breaker for me.
