Had to change Collation from Icelandic to  Danish,  and now the  Journal cannot be opened. 

How can I fix this ?

you should use default collation (Latin_general_CI_AS) for your DNN database and SQL server during install.
You may be forced to alter collation for all existing tables now.

OK   great to know. 

maybe  you  could advice  on this error I get when trying to do this:

Msg 5075, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
The object 'Journal_User_Permissions' is dependent on database collation. The database collation cannot be changed if a schema-bound object depends on it. Remove the dependencies on the database collation and then retry the operation.

I  tried  deleting the  functions,  changing  database colition to  Latin1_General_CI_AS  this went well, 
then created the  functions  again ,  also went well. 

now  new  error is  :

May I add that  the  Journal seems to be the only module in site that  has problem with the change of  db Collition

Everything else works just fine.   There must be some hardcoded  config somewhere  that points to original  installation  collition
