If users logout they can re-authenticate
http://yourdomain/dotnetnuke/admin/security/WindowsSignin.aspx

We add this link to the Home page and assign permissions only to "unathenticated users".
Authenticated users will not see it until they logout.

Usernames will show up as DOMAIN\username.
They will all show up under the first letter of your Domain.

Thanks Mike. This fixed the issue of logging in for us. For some reason we cant see the users in the User Accounts. Going to the first letter of the Domain , we get " An error has occurred. Error: User Accounts is currently unavailable" - all other letters of the alphabet are OK .

Cheers

Error: User Accounts is currently unavailable"

Take a look in the SQL tables to be sure names are being added correctly.  Sounds like there is some kind of corruption.

Mike and others

If the HOST administrator logs in to check the users we get the following

Error: User Accounts is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.TextColumnTemplate.GetValue(DataGridItem container) at DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.TextColumnTemplate.Item_DataBinding(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.OnDataBinding(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.DataBind(Boolean raiseOnDataBinding) at System.Web.UI.Control.DataBind() at System.Web.UI.Control.DataBindChildren() at System.Web.UI.Control.DataBind(Boolean raiseOnDataBinding) at System.Web.UI.Control.DataBind() at System.Web.UI.Control.DataBindChildren() at System.Web.UI.Control.DataBind(Boolean raiseOnDataBinding) at System.Web.UI.Control.DataBind() at System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGrid.CreateItem(Int32 itemIndex, Int32 dataSourceIndex, ListItemType itemType, Boolean dataBind, Object dataItem, DataGridColumn[] columns, TableRowCollection rows, PagedDataSource pagedDataSource) at System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGrid.CreateControlHierarchy(Boolean useDataSource) at System.Web.UI.WebControls.BaseDataList.OnDataBinding(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.WebControls.BaseDataList.DataBind() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.UserAccounts.BindData(String SearchText, String SearchField) in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke_4.3.1\Admin\Users\Users.ascx.vb:line 211 at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.UserAccounts.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke_4.3.1\Admin\Users\Users.ascx.vb:line 495 --- End of inner exception stack trace

Does this provide a clue.  As I say - this error only occurs whne looking at the first letter of the domain name in the user list. This is the only error we have on the site, everytning else works just fine
Cheers

Just a guess but check the "Display Name" property for the Host user.  If it is blank this may cause the problem.  We had that occur sometime during our testing but not sure which version.

Also, use 4.3.3 before you do anything else.
