I have upgraded all my instances to 7.0 and all followed Upgrades and I am now at 7.1.2.  I always had the opinion to manage uses as an admin or host.  Could you access the site Settings and host setings ?  If yes please check the Control Panel value on the Host Settings, I am using the Controlbar.  On Site Settings please try to enable popups.

Please try also a other Skin, it could also be that the Skin have to be upgraded.  Older Skins sometimes using own jQuery and jQueryUI library, and this is changed and DNN was updated it's code.

I have just checked an I have the following SQL Login Users:

dbname\dbo\users\dbo

dbname\dbo\Users\dbname_ws

dbname_ws\dbo\Users\dbo

dbname_ws\dbo\Users\dbname_ws

There is nothing in the Users\sys table

Is that correct? Or am I missing something?

Steve

Is the dbname_ws the user you have added to both Connection strings on your web config file ?

If you open the advanced Settings of the users (doubble click on SQL Management Studio) you should se on the Basic Settings a User name and a Login Name for each database user.  If the Login Name is empty we have found the issue. Then the SQL Login User is not mapped with the database user.
