Hello,

I recently set up a DNN site and am attempting to add administrators. I have two problems:

1)they do not get the email notification.

2)When they try to reset their password the get “Reset Password option is currently unavailable.”

 How do I rectify this?  I can see I am not the only one with the problem, but it seems there no solutions.

Which DNN version are you running?
Are you using English or another language?

Enlish. 7.1.2

I'm so stumped. This is only a test site so I am concerned that I am running across this already. It shows so much promise, I hope someone can help.

please check user registration settings in Admin > Site Settings. There should be an option to enable admin notifications.
can you post, how a reset link looks like in your configuration?
is it a new install or an upgraded site?

 I can not find any fields to enable admin notifications. Can you be more specific?

Here is what I get when I try to reset the password:  http://i44.tinypic.com/35lt1es.png

This is a new install.
