Noticed that I haven't any new users register since 2014-01-10 21:23:31.703. What happened? Upgraded from 7.0.5 to 7.1.2 early on the 11th.

Is this the last straw? Since move site that began in 2003 most members have left the building now can't even get new users.

When try to reg. Add New User action  wheel appears briefly and  nothing happens. Checked test site that I ran the upgrade on before going live and it is the same.

Are there any exception details in admin->event viewer? Have you tried switching log4net to All to see if any more errors are logged (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/...)

Yes i have looked in the Event Viewer and there is nothing.  Actually looked at the events noting the last entry then tried to register a user, back to the Events and there was no change. Didn't know about log4net will look into it.

It looks to me as though when the Add New User button is clicked that it is not connecting to anywhere. I guess that there is a .dll file involved here and we are just not connecting.

In many cases - the culprit for buttons not doing what you expect after a dnn upgrade can be traced back to the skin and more specifically client side javascript code conflicts.

I would start by testing the site in chrome or firefox - and activating the page inspector - which will let you turn on the console tab in your browser - check to see if there are any javascript errors firing after you refresh the page.
