If I make an ascx skin, it doesn't complain if I set :

<%@ Control Language="vb"

But I want

<%@ Control Language="c#"

Where in the Host or Admin menu do I set this baby to c# as a default scripting language?

There is no DNN UI to modify that. You can just use a text editor to edit the file.

I tried that before posting the question. Doing that immediately results in about 100+ errors. Try it and see.

I imagine it's because the inherited classes for skin and container were written in vb.net, so saying the language is c# messes things up pretty good.

I saw that creating a new module allows you to define C# as the language.

Is there a C# version of DNN?  :D

Ok - seeing a lot of C# files in the directories on DNN - so what gives? Why does it crap-out when changing language of skin or container to C#?
